Magda Ruta’s debut album ‘Nie wiem, czy będę’ is a deep picture of pretty complicated inner life of a woman with a whole lot of doubts, weaknesses, fears, longing, desires, boundaries, other people’s judgement. The love that Magda writes about has a lot of colors and shades. She takes a look inside herself in a brave way.
Twelve songs on the album are a very personal speech. The melodies and harmonies sometimes raise emotions, and sometimes they hypnotize and give you time to just be with music. The album is free of calculations which makes it easy to feel musical sensitivity and taste. There’s also a lot of brave solutions such as linking siren synthezators straight from the electro stream with a female voice and rhythm section and raw guitars. Magda made this album with Tomek ‘Serek’ Krawczyk, a producer and skilled musician known for his work on interetsting projects, and with young and creative musicians she formed a band with.
